What is a CDR?
Updated this week

A Call Detail Record (CDR) is a log generated by a telecom service provider that includes detailed information about phone calls made or received on a specific number. This record usually includes:

  • Timestamp of the call (when the call was made or received)

  • Call duration (how long the call lasted)

  • Phone numbers involved (the caller and receiver)

  • Call type (whether it was incoming, outgoing, or missed)

  • Location data (geographical information about where the call was made or received)

  • Network details (such as which cell towers were used during the call)
