This can happen with brand new gateways, and there isn’t actually anything wrong. There are quite a few firmware updates that the gateway needs to download and install before its prepared for onboarding.

This can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the local network speed.

Please try to turn on your gateway, leave it running for an hour before attempting the onboarding process again.
